The Homework Assistance with the Red Cross on Tuesdays:

Organized by the Red Cross, homework assistance takes place on Tuesdays at Sandnes Library. At the Red Cross Homework Assistance, you can receive free help with your homework after school hours. Here, you can get help in all school subjects, and the volunteer tutors have both the time and expertise to assist you. This service is available for students in lower secondary school, upper secondary school, and college.

Free of charge, no registration required.

Norwegian Training with the Red Cross on Tuesdays:

Norwegian training recruits many immigrant workers and people who want to enter the workforce. There are 3-4 different levels from beginner to advanced. Participants attend the same group each time, often with the same volunteer Norwegian trainer. The volunteers are highly experienced Norwegian trainers and have broad experience from their own education and professional life.

The offer is free, but you need to sign up.

Language Café with ADLE on Mondays:

ADLE organizes conversation training for everyone who wants to learn Norwegian!

Every Monday, except during school holidays, ADLE meets at the book loft at Sandnes Library to speak Norwegian.

It's social, fun, and an effective way to practice and learn Norwegian. ADLE's members and volunteers believe in solidarity, and helping others succeed contributes to inclusion and diversity.
